Kimimaro is a character from the anime series Naruto Shippuden. He first appears in episode 120, "Roar and Howl!" of the series.

Kimimaro was the sole survivor of the Kaguya clan, known for their brutal and bloodthirsty nature. He possessed the Kekkei Genkai Shikotsumyaku, which allowed him to manipulate his own bone structure for offense and defense.

Orphaned and alone, he was taken in by Orochimaru, who saw him as the perfect vessel to house his own soul. Kimimaro developed a fanatical loyalty to Orochimaru, viewing him as a savior. However, Kimimaro was stricken with a terminal illness that rendered him unable to serve as Orochimaru's host.

Despite his declining health, Kimimaro remained a formidable warrior, battling Gaara and Rock Lee in a desperate attempt to prevent them from interfering with Sasuke's defection to Orochimaru's side. He ultimately succumbed to his illness during the battle, dying with the belief that he had served Orochimaru to the best of his ability.
